Calendar 2008:
The Dreaming in Colour Digital World: Much has been accomplished
since the last of our live performances of 2006. Over 18 new songs are being worked on in the Power Station Studio in our
Mac powered environment. The wireless nature of our set up is allowing creativity to flow 24/7. We have hooked up a bunch
of G5s, Mac Powerbook Pros and are using Digital Performer, shoot files back and forth and collaborate non stop. We have
taken delivery of a new mixing board and Tony is updating his "big room" in the studio to accomplish recording the acoustic
drum kit ( which requires a bit more gear like API or Daking pre's and plenty of acoustic tuning material. Technology has
no borders and allowed us to include the great John Hoeckstra on this CD project from his home base in North Carolina. Doug
Stone, Peoria native and current Chicago first call sax man, is also working with us via remote recording .The rough takes
are good so far and we hope to have the close to finished songs ( pre production) on the site as soon as we get them published.
We look forward to your feedback. Thanks for all the e-mails and support at the gigs. 15 plus years and going strong. Some
drum tracks may be recorded in Los Angeles at Dave Weckl's studio and there are a couple of surprise guest artists playing
on the disk. More to follow.Thank you all.
The Club Room at The Hoogland Center for the Arts could be one
of the best venues to see a band in Central Illinois. The stage, lighting and acoustics of the room put it at a level not
seen in other Springfield venues. The wood paneled walls, table seating and full bar create an atmosphere perfect for socializing
and taking in great music in a smoke free environment. Parking is free in the ramp next door or areas around the Hoogland
Center. Discover the Club Room (3rd floor elevator) as Dreaming in Colour take the stage on June 30th. Doors open at 8:00
pm. Look for a series of live shows in The Club Room throughout the year.
